FYI: Asylum is having a sales now up to 60% of love!then i was really bored that i made an attempt to fry poppadom! and it was very successful! for your information, poppadom is a side dish usually found in an Indian crusine. you eat poppadom with almost anything! curry, masala, dahl or even jam! lol i was just joking about the jam.

Old School Cartoon
being 20 years old, i can't say i watch many cartoons anymore, save the Simpsons and Family Guy, but i was bored to tears so i figured i'd see what passes for weekday morning entertainment these days.
omg what dissapointment! the majority of cartoons on television these days are so utterly simple, uninteresting and have terrible storylines!
i recalled back in the day when i was a kid, cartoons shown every afternoon on channel12 were pure joy for me. because 90% or more of the cartoons and kids shows that were available to be watched! not only did these cartoons entertain me, they also taught me important lessons. (lol this makes it sound like my parents did a terrible job and i was raised by the tv, however that wasnt the case la)
for instance, who can forget learning about the environment on Captain Planet. but the thing was, the show was so well-written, kids didn't realize it was a blatant ploy to expose environmental issues because all that mattered was that Captain Planet beat down poachers, polluters and all other environmental villains of the sort.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT for short) was another cartoon which i tune in without fail daily! they have the best kung fu master, the coolest moves and the cheesiest pizzas ever. also, they came up with a movie recently and it was awesome!

however i think Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers was stupid. i guess the very first few seasons were the best. and i clearly remembered i liked the red ranger, Jason who was the leader of the pack. i like the pink ranger Kimberly too, because the red ranger likes her. what really made me sit down and watch the show was how they transformed into huge robot liked dinosaur by just a toss of their superhero coin. haha now you know what i mean? and they all formed and morphed into a super huge figurine (like transformers, just that they're individuals who join forces into one). like the cliche says, the hero saves the day.

did i mention Captain Planet has the coolest theme song too?! i can vividly remember the tune! and i think it goes like this..

why, so the moral of the day is practically to let parents know that most cartoons these days are plain bullshit. and it would be really really nice if the tv station does broadcast Captain Planet and other old school educational cartoons. kids these days need that, seriously.

Once Bitten, Twice Shy
remember the 5bucks watch i got from Bugis Village?
that bloody watch stopped working! :O *gasps why, should i even be surprised? its a SGD5 watch! who am i kidding anyways haha! its always the case: the watch came with the package. looks great on the exterior but sucked totally inside. i should have expected that to happen. never see that coming until 2 days later after i realised the time shown on dearest 5bucks watch is actually 1 hour slower than my casio! okay, wtf
gotta admit that was an impulse buy and i was really desperate for a huge face watch so there, i got myself a cheap and practically useless watch!
lesson for the day: when they say its a 5bucks watch, they really meant a 5bucks one.
ps: thank you aveline for the cake slices! it was really good! i indulged in every slice and even craved for more after the last piece! :)~

so ive figured that now ive turned 20, i thought it would be really neat to keep a list of 10 things that i wanna to do before i turn 21.
cliché, cliché i know. just like any typical "Before I Turn 21" list, it's funny to have one because it seems like im dying, therefore a list of what i want to do before i die being generated.
i mean, turning 20 is just like any other birthdays. turning 21, is otherwise. that is when more responsibilities and burdens are being pushed to you. your stress level increases gradually, you will find time flying so fast you won't even know how many days are there in a year! so you age faster than you imagined it to be. many might think, oh it's okay, im cool and i can handle anything under the sun, its peanuts! however, not when you are always facing so many issues even before you turn 21. entering to a new phase of life.

okay so now everyone's talkin' about Tila. i didnt realised she's famous till i read xiaxue's blog! im an avid user of myspace and i never knew that she is the queen of myspace either (i mainly surf myspace for music)! im such a dork. i recalled that i did chance upon her account several times however i must say she wasn't as popular as then compared to now (btw, it was eons ago). guess modelling(sidenote: does not happen to everyone) and the reality show she hosted did make her hella rich and famous, which is a good thing!
hot toned body, great personality, x-factor are what it takes to get you into the entertainment world. obviously she has it and the best part of all, she's bisexual!(sorry ive got a thing for bisexuals) :)
