Maid Issues

a reply to what alicia has blogged today : do you like maids?

i had around 10 maids or more than that ever since the day i was born. and out of lets say, 10 maids, i loved 3 dearly. its not any act of bias-ness but just judgement on how well the maid knows and do their thing.

maid/servant; one employed to perform domestic or other services. that is their duty, their job scope. but if one fails to fulfil the given duties, then should they be sacked? thats another issue already.

to me, maids are like nannies who takes on extra house chores, an all rounder. a maid does not have to teach you studies..or play the piano, but she can teach you manners or even teach you cultures back home. as long a maid shows diligence, optimism, keeps the house spanking clean, and makes sure she fulfils all duties; if i were an employer, i wont mind giving her a day break.

but if my maid is lazy, uncouth, dirty, bad tempered, there is no point keeping her in my house. i pay for all her expenses all i get from her is this?

despite the fact that she is human and has feelings, but who isnt?

with the recent news of maids chopping one another and maids this..maids that, seriously maid agencies should consider the fact of closing down. or they should be training their maids to be professional so less problems would incur, i think?

prrft
