Reincarnation of Hindu Goddess
Lali, the 1-month-old baby, is born with 2 faces-- two noses, two pairs of lips and two pairs of eyes. an extremely rare condition known as craniofacial duplication, Lali has a single head with two faces. she is being hailed as a return of the Hindu goddess of valor, Durga, a fiery deity traditionally depicted with three eyes and many arms.
as many as 100 people visit Lali's house daily to touch her feet out of respect, offer money and receive blessings!
children who are born with such condition is usually linked to serious health complications, but not for baby Lali. with the ability to breathe and function normally, baby Lali is born healthy and fortunate and she'll lead a normal life like any other children!!!
i'm glad for the baby that she is born totally healthy. sometimes, being born with something special is a good sign. i hope she'll embrace her special feature with loving arms.

some people show off their beauty because they want the world to see it.
others hide their beauty because they want the world to see something else.

Sing With Me
awe inspiring song! sing with me.
i love Jason Mraz, he creates lives out of songs.
Hey Mr. Curiosity
Is it true what they've been saying about you
Are you killing me?
You took care of the cat already
And for those who think it's heavy
Is it the truth
Or is it only gossip
Call it mystery or anything
Just as long as you'd call me
I sent the message on did you get it when I left it
See this catastrophic event
It wasn't meant to mean no harm
But to think there's nothing wrong is a problem
I'm looking for love this time
Sounding hopeful but it's making me cry
Love is a mystery
Mr. Curious...
Come back to me
Mr. waiting ever patient can't you see
That I'm the same the way you left me
In a hurry to spell check me
And I'm underlined already in envy green
And pencil red
And I've forgotten what you've said
Will you stop working for the dead and return
Mr. curious well I need some inspiration
It's my birthday and I cannot find no cause for celebration
The scenario is grave but I'll be braver when you save me
From this situation laden with hearsay
I'm looking for love this time
Sounding hopeful but it's making me cry
And love is a mystery
Mr. Curiosity
Be Mr. please
Do come and find me, oh
Find, find me, find me
I'm looking for love this time
Sounding hopeful but it's making me cry
Trying not to ask why
Cause love is a mystery
Mr. curiosity
Be Mr. please
Do come and find me
Love is blinding when the timing's never right
Oh who am I to beg for difference
Finding love in just an instant
Well I dont mind, at least I've tried
And I tried, I tried...

Support Hungry & Abandoned Kids
let's put it this way, again! a guy who went bankrupt, and homeless, decided to put up a blog and tell people that "i am homeless and help is needed" is clearly understood. he is poor, he doesn't have money, he decides to write his story and he needs help a.k.a money. not bad of an idea afterall! i mean, this guy admitted his mistakes and told an inspiring story, that's something worth to be praised. but what i don't understand is, close to 27 million of population in Malaysia, which is close to 6 times the population of Singapore, why is he the only one who seemed to need help?
ps: have anyone of you caught The Terminal starring Tom Hanks? it's based on a true story.
every needy person needs help! or else they wouldn't be called needy, isn't it? and i understand Mr. Homeless' plight that he doesn't have a roof to stay under, but isn't he trying hard like everyone? i believe he is and i don't mind giving him my moral support.
from 1 to 6, which of the following will you help more?
- young abandoned children
- sick young patients with diseases and penniless
- children who went through child abuse
- residents whose apartment got burnt down by arson
- people who lost everything overnight after a break-in
- people who went bankrupt and learning to live the tough way
be it in Singapore or Malaysia or anywhere in the world, i would like to urge everyone to do their part and lend their hands to children who are abandoned or sick. they are the ones whom i think need help badly.

guess we're born too lucky to even realise the ones who are in need of help. many of us, instead of thanking for the good lives we lead complain about how ugly it is (that includes me), how shitty is it without knowing that there are people out there who need help more than us and even smiling their lives away. let's give some thought about it.
i would like to dedicate the following song to everyone. i believe Jacko wrote this song for a reason. ;)
We Are The World by Michael Jackson
There comes a time
When we heed a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
And it's time to lend a hand to life
The greatest gift of all
We can't go on pretending day by day
That someone, somewhere will soon make a change
We're all a part of God's great big family
And the truth, you know, love is all we need
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There’s a choice we're making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day, just you and me
Send them your heart
So they'll know that someone cares
And their lifes will be stronger and free
As God has shown us by turning stones to bread
and so we all must lend a helping hand
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There’s a choice we're making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day, just you and me
When you're down and out, there seems no hope at all
But if you just believe there's no way we can fall
Well, well, well, well let us realize oh! that a change can only come
When we stand together as one
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There’s a choice we're making
We’re saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day, just you and me
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving
There's a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a better day, just you and me
We are the world
(are the world)
We are the children
(are the children)
We are the ones who’ll make a brighter day so lets start giving
(so let's start giving)
There’s a choice we’re makin’
We’re savin’ our own lives
It’s true we’ll make a brighter day, just you and me

Block Games
i miss Jenga days; like how i manage to trashy everyone in my family. *sniggers* also, Rubik's Cube made a return to the scene; the super colourful cube i thought would extinct! tried doing the 2x2 but i can never figure how to complete the last few steps! argh!then i took interest in mahjong. it's a really cool game! people might think playing mahjong is another way to gamble, true but, if you think of it another way as a game, like poker, then mahjong is just another game to pass time away! this strategic game makes you think and analyze and determind. pretty interesting! :)

"I HATE THAT BLOGGER" TOO!
Blogger A: Cute! She looks great on the webcam! Maybe 'hitting' on her and asking her for a date wouldn't be a problem!
Blogger B: Let's meet up! :)
the next day after the meet up, both parties went home and turned on the PC. they started typing. dearest blog, ...
Blogger A: She's a bimbo! She's a bitch! I'm going to bitch about that bitch!
Blogger B: I hate that blogger! What a 'dick', he is such a fake! He ruined my life!
okay seriously. my take on that was : what the heck? what's with the overreaction? if you guys don't like each other, then delete each other from each other's life! instead of doing that, you guys decided to dislike each other and start blogging about the whole issue! grudges aside but don't you think both of you are just ruining your own lives by typing words and telling the world, oh how bad he or she is? why not write good points bout each other? well, i bet there isn't since there's so much hatred in the entries.
meeting up with a blogger who is a complete stranger and exchanging pointers, maybe sharing traveling experiences, getting to know each other over coffee isn't a bad thing afterall! the fact is many bloggers are doing it! of course, not all meet ups are fruitful neither do they turn out to be pleasant, however, blogging about how much you dislike him or her after a meet up won't gain back what you think you have lost.
know the Alicia Keys' song Karma? 'what goes around comes around, what goes up must come down.' does that ring a bell?
thus with so much hatred in the entries both parties have posted, curiosity slips in like cinderella slipped into her glass slippers, readers accumulate, online traffic flow gets so so much better, more ads coming your way (whee!), then hate blogs and parodies (*kaypo people like me) start to arise! it goes around and around like the carousel it only stops when you guys calm down and cease the whole drama. oh, and remember to delete each other from each other's life.
well if you guys decide to make up for each other, that would be really nice too! sometimes, a little positivity works :)
otherwise,
well i have my piece, hopefully this doesn't cause an uproar whatsoever. i don't know what will happen to me if i post this in Innit...i guess i'm ready for the slamdown. *gulps*
i did mention this to ngdjclvr1 : "y'know, catfights between ladies will take forever to end however a war between almost strangers just keeps me entertained. it's nothing good or bad, but i don't see why such attention is needed if you know what i mean :| "
and she replied me: "I've read the other blogger's post and expected a respond. That's it. Plus, this much attention just proved how nosy we Malaysian & Singaporean are... which includes me of course."
cute :)
*kaypo is a slang. it means nosey parker

Flirt Like A Pro
i found these following flirting tips online, if you have your own style, just incorporate some of them here and i guarantee, you'll be irresistible! lol, so what are you waiting for?!
1. Appearance Consciousness
the most basic, first thing that you need to pay attention is your physical appearance. there's no need to dress provocatively, but you should wear something that looks confident, elegant, comfortable, and at the same time makes you feel you.
hygiene care, ladies. from the hair to the toes, make sure you're well groomed! do not overdo make-up ladies! you won't wanna look like the Joker ya? also, make sure you take initiative to make yourself smell good, look clean and make sure you shave, ladies! [IMPORTANT]
2. Are You Alone?
make sure you're alone! don't let the poor guy approach you in crowds and ensure that your friends or girlfriends aren't around you. like, hello do you want 10,000 pairs of eyes to be on you? or being bitched about? also, no man likes to be rejected in front of everyone.give some thought! unless you're a bitch yourself then lol, what can i say?
3. Act Right
how to act flirty? there's 10 million tips on how to do so but i'll shall list down the few basic ones i can think of:
Eyes contactthe eyes can be the most effective tool for flirting. it's possible to make a guy's heart skip a beat by giving him a playful, lusty, or lingering stare. here is how to do it:
if you're walking by someone you've got the hots for, give him a 2-3 second stare and then slowly glance away (slowly, i repeat). make sure you smile just as you start to look away! he'll get it.
to add on, when you're talking to a guy you like, take a second to momentarily break away from his eyes and pause on his upper body or chest. let 2 seconds pass. then slowly move your eyes back up and make eye contact again. this sends him chills of excitement. he'll realise that you were checking him out...trust me, attention is good. (i don't personally like that take because it's like a hint telling him, "hey let's talk on the bed instead", unless you don't mind!)
a laugh and a smile are the sexiest things a female can wear. ;)
Magic Touch
learn to brush a guy in such a way that you send tingles up and down his spine. note: brush and grind are two totally different intentions! try not make it intentional, do not let the cat out of the bag! casually tap him while laughing, or hold his hand when you're nervous; it will give him a sense of manliness and you a touch sweetie pie [no pun intended!]
4. Start The Ball Rollin'!
having small talks work. make sure you know what you're talking. talk about what you have in common, talk about your surroundings, ask a question, ask for help, state an opinion. while talking, look into his eyes confidently and affectionately, not seductively.
5. Getting To Know Him
while having the light conversation, try to find out whether he is your type. if he is pushy, stop at the line you draw. if you feel otherwise, carry on with the evening. if he isn't your cup of tea, just excuse yourself politely from his company. remember you started the whole flirting, so make sure you aren't impulsive or aggressive.
here's the crucial point. if he's interested in you, don't just go immediately to be "BFF" or"boyfriend." start hanging out with him, become friends, progressively becoming best friends, until it proceeds to the next stage!
well well, now you know the moves, i wish you the best! hehe

Karma
earlier this morning, i left my house for the market as i'm supposed to whip out something good for dinner. i crossed the road, stepped on the curb, missed a bloody step and my entire body threw forward, which caused both feet of mine to twist and sprain. i was lucky there were no cars because the red light triggered the moment i fell. i pushed myself up, in excruciation and disbelief and staggered hurriedly to the pavement.
sounds like some hollywood action pack drama. seriously whoever did that fall is definitely danger-free because i can tell you the real life situation, the fall is never executed correctly neither is it a 'pretty falling shot'. it's raw! asshole.
i settled at the nearby stairs and i swear 10,000 pairs of eyes were staring at my direction. i ignored the given attention and focused on my injuries.
i realised my left feet gave way because it was the first to be sprained followed by my right. so the swell was really bad and imagine the right foot getting a sprain as well? 2 friggin' swells! i could hardly stand up because my left foot was in immense pain. both of my knees and elbow have abrasion wounds. they had something in common: all of them were bleeding! and i have a date with ave and mr. tan tomorrow!
shit.
many things were running in my head. things like, "what about dinner?" "i don't want to have broken bones!" "what about tomorrow's date?!" "how am i gonna find a job like this?!" blah blah..
then snap! when an elderly man kindly took his bottle of medicated oil and asked me to apply it over my injured area. 2 homemakers came to me and asked me if i'm okay. then came a few more.
sorry for digressing but i need to point something out. when you had a bad fall, and someone witnessed the entire incident, came up to you and asked if "you're okay?" or "does it hurt?", i'm glad someone asked me but don't you think "are you okay" or even better "does it hurt" looks like some stupid question when "i'm not okay" and "OUCH!" is written all over your face?!
so anyway, this lady came out from her SUV and offered to drive me back home. i agreed the kind offer and managed to reach home safely. i realised this fall made me realised something: There are kind people out there and I'm not alone.
and now i'm in this ordeal typing this entry out v_v urgh. THANKS

Cheeky
(scroll down for super hilarious phone pranks!)
For Your Parents:
Daughter:"I'm 3mths pregnant and loving it!"
Son: "I made a girl pregnant and she's my sister."
For Your Friends:
"If you guys dig deeper you'd realise you've already eaten 1/2 of a cockroach, yummy?"
For Guys Only:
The victim of this subtle prank should be a girl with prominent breasts or nipples. The prank is simply to ask her if she can touch her elbows together behind her back, which is physically impossible for a human of normal anatomy, but it causes the breasts to protrude more than any other posture. The longer the victim continues to attempt the Impossible Elbow Touch, the funnier and more enjoyable it is for the observers.
For Ladies Only:
Very simple. Turn your guys on, and then turn them off.

Me...Myself
on the contrary, i think its one of the most beautiful thing ever.
one reason why i like watching foreign films is because it's just me alone and the moving film with a language i yet to have a clue. pictures tell a thousand words so even if there's no subtitles or translations, the story will still be told.
like a woman crying. when a man filled with anger. children running everywhere with joy spelled across their faces. picture them in your mind and you'll see it coming.
maybe i'll miss some important speech details, but it's okay because with emotions and places and people and events and things happening all in a 1- 3 hr film; why not let the visuals, music and body languages do the talking?
a very good example would be this
though i caught the movie with subtitles but after catching it i realised i'm able to comprehend it without reading the subtitles.
anyway that was really random. v_v
my ultimate purpose of this entry is to introduce you guys this movie called Me...Myself starring Ananda Everingham (Leap Years & Shutter) and Chayanan Manomaisantiphap. 2 people who are total strangers, both belonging in different worlds falling in love? love; unpredictable shit.
Guess The Price
while my guts are still literally boiling, try guessing the price of this Golden MacBook Air? by the way it has a sexy name, Golden Age. Designed by Ayano Kimura, this MacBook Air is made with special 24k gold coated Swarovski crystals.
oh and try guessing this too!
and now i would like to present you the most expensive laptop in the world, the Tulip E-Go Diamond which costs a bomb of € 283,000 (do your math) omg?! the Tulip E-Go Diamond notebook inlaid with solid palladium white gold plates in which thousands of brilliant cut diamonds have been set.
"The brilliant cut diamonds are microscopic and pave set with surgical precision. This magnificent end result is possible thanks to the use of brilliant cut diamonds with a large variety of diameters." as quoted from AMDboard.com
only rich idiots are willing to buy a notebook like that. -.- pft

Somebody, Please Kill Me
the moment i walked in, i recalled my friend telling me about the new MacBook Air which she personally thinks is millions times hotter than her MacBook. i listened to my intuition and headed towards the PC and laptop section where they display the hottest ones in the market now and i was drooling over every kind when my eyes set upon the MacBook Air.
i swear my eyes started bleeding, so are my ears, mouth...nose..
very *chio can!
so anyway, i forced myself to shift my attention elsewhere so i pranced away to the iPods section. swiftly, i took a piece of brouchure and browsed through. my eyes fixed on a particular line that says: iPod Classic 80GB, SGD388
curiously i approached the salesperson to point out which iPod Classic they meant. (i thought iPod Classic would be the older version a.k.a iPod Video, so i wanted a conformation) he pointed at latest iPod Classic!
at that point of time i wanted to scream 'fuck!' so loudly my insides boiled literally. i took my iPod Video and asked the staff at the information counter how much the market value is. he took out a blue file, flipped and pointed at the super tiny printed words. it says : iPod Video 30GB SGD50
huh! i paid this piece of shit for $500 2 years ago!
WTF, WA LAO I REALLY FEEL LIKE HATING IPOD NOW! v_v
why are they doing such a thing to me! i got my iPod 2 years ago and i didn't expect the price of the new iPod Classic to plunge that bad! 80GB! for $388!
urgh! somebodyjust kill me right now!
*chio means pretty in hokkien
Make It Global
if you'd like one, get it here!
however, there's one thing i have to point out. the website is a direct translation so therefore, the grammer and word formations might be wrong based on individual language.
the fact that i could read mine in chinese, proves that the translator isn't that bad afterall. so you might wanna give a try. :)

My Take on Malaysian Dreamgirl
firstly, congratulations for Malaysian productions to think of such reality show because i seldom see one in S.E.A especially when it's something to do with top models, fashion and runways. (which i have a thing for)Malaysian Dreamgirl is an online reality show hosted by Sazzy Falak, which aims to find the next top fashion model/host in Malaysia.
The series features a cast of 12 contestants who will compete with each other to become the Malaysian Dreamgirl. The participants will have to outshine each other on the catwalk fashion shows, photo shoots, self-make up and self-styling assignments whilst living together for 10 weeks.
Malaysian Dreamgirl on Wikipedia.org
however, i've caught all the series till the latest of the show, and i still don't get it. this might be a biased opinion, but a top fashion model/host? i don't see couture, i don't see vogue, i don't see top models or anything along the line! hopefully they have both brains and the brawns! perhaps, i should be more understanding as most finalists aren't models or do they have any experience in runways; they're average ladies just like me! i mean, who knows maybe someone do really have the true blue top model/host quality however i guess it's still too early to determine.
if i were to determine the winner of this show, i guess it would be either Alison or Jay. because the outcome of who's in or out depends on audiences' votes, therefore i suppose it's really up to the audiences. it was a pity that Alison is out because i like her personality and her sense of humour; it's just unlucky because she got a pretty bad shot and it didn't turned out pleasant. *pulls hair* hopefully, Jay will win this race because she has what it takes to be a top model.
i think top models don't really need the looks, nor the boobs or butt, but she needs to have confidence, walks like a pro, poise, wit, a little attitude/narcissism and has to know how to take beautiful pictures. like top model kate moss, she doesn't have boobs or a butt, neither does she looks stunningly beautiful but she knows the camera, she knows how to capture the picture.
digression!
okay back to Malaysian Dreamgirl, in the photoshoot Precinct2, only 3 pictures managed to capture my attention. they are:
i have no idea what the latest photo shoot, White Summer is trying to tell me. who has the biggest smile that reminds you of summer? if i have no choice but to choose one, then i guess Nadia's shot managed to capture the essence of Summer.
i wonder what's the next photo shoot going to be about. and i'm looking forward to! :) meanwhile please give me the strength to complete the entrire seasons of ANTM (America's Next Top Model) so i'm able to carry on with other tv shows v_v
