it brings me great pleasure to present you with David cook's latest single, "Time of My Life", studio version!
it's definitely a winning song for David Cook, your latest American Idol Season 7 winner! the song suited Cook, the 25 year old musician who went through setbacks in his journey to Idol stardom. but hey, he won American Idol!!!

i love Paris Hilton. uh huh, you know who i'm talkin' about; that naughty, dumb, iconic blonde. she gets everyone's tongue wagging, even mine. i just wondered how on earth did she even get into my dreams.
yes, i had dreamt of Paris Hilton - stealing my pair of hot Manolo Blanik heels! i clearly remembered i looked somewhat like Ugly Betty, and i wear hot heels. somehow rather, in some weird situation, i am a FOP (friend of Paris) and she invited me to a stand-up comedy premiere in town.
i remembered sitting in her limo, sipping champagne and bitching about Britney Spears. her actions seemed pretty dubious but i ignored them and continued to enjoy the socialite lifestyle for a day. the moment we reached the red carpet, we were asked to flash our heels while paparazzi take snapshots of them and we're told to remove them when we step into the theatre. apparently, there weren't anyone wearing the similar heels as mine so i gently removed my lovely pair of Manolo Blanik and placed them at the corner.
the stand up was hilarious! i laughed so bad i excused myself to the ladies. when i returned, Paris was gone and i couldn't get her via her cellphone! i figured it was typical of Paris to skip premieres, so i had no choice but to sit and enjoy the entire stand-up by myself out of respect to the artiste.
once the stand-up ended, i rushed to my heels to make sure it's in safe hands when i realised they were nowhere to be found! i questioned the guard and was furious at him to give me the sloppiest answer ever: "i have no idea, lady"
feeling grouchy, i started walking out of the building barefooted. with stares that darted right at my barefooted feet, i scurried like a mouse and walked away aimlessly. few minutes later, i received a text from Paris. "believ u'r walking bearfoted naw haha i stool ur shoes haha" the first thing that came out from my mind was..WHAT A BITCH OKAY! then my dream ended.
even Paris Hilton is a bitch in my dreams. can you imagine how bitchy she is in real? damned.
sounds familiar? it's like Season 6 all over again, except this time, the guys are dominating.
meanwhile, enjoy as Natasha Beddingfield performs 'Pocketful of Sunshine' and Neil Diamond with 'Pretty Amazing Grace'. they're amazing!
so, i predict that Jason will be the next to leave, happily ever after. Syesha will edge through making it to Top 3 while both David(s) will take it down at the finale.
Rock 'n' Roll theme is up next week!
it's not surprising that next week will be a divine night for Cook (DOH, like that is his forte)...a downfall for Jason though.
download the Top 5 Studio Recordings here right now!
it's pretty disheartening to discuss this over a joyous day (hello, its labor day) about our beloved Britney but i shall do it for the sake of love. remember the day Britney shaved her hair off and it was disastrous?
watch it, Paris
imagine your favourite celebrities bald?...nope, i'd rather not think of it.
Natalie Portman shaved off for her role in V for Vendetta
here's a pictures of your favourite celebs BALD! i managed to dig them from AOL teens and frankly speaking i thought jessica alba looks hot when she's bald. what irony!
5 warriors left on a battlefield. who do you think will emerge survivor?
the top 5 with Neil Diamond
tonight on American Idol, the 5 warriors are taking on stage with the songs of Neil Diamond! it's bigger and better; each finalist gets to sing 2 songs of their choice! okay, don't get too hyped up just yet. the real show has yet to begun.
ROUND ONE
Jason Castro gave an acoustic guitar performance of "Forever in Blue Jeans". subtle, but i liked it, however agreeing to what Simon said, it's forgettable.
David Cook brought Neil Diamond goosebumps with his practice performance of "I'm Alive," which many seldom listen to. i'm a totally biased person, because i think David sings well and does music arrangements brilliantly. just take a look at Billie Jean and Always Be My Baby!
Brooke White did "I'm a Believer" and trust me on this, it was way too scary. *pouts*
David Archuleta took off with "Sweet Caroline" and sounded great as usual. it seems like David Archuleta is setting the benchmark for the rest of the contestants.
Syesha Mercado said "Hello Again." "It's nice to meet you." and i was just crapping on that as well. she sung beautifully! it just gets better after every round, now i'm confused.
ROUND TWO
Jason Castro came back with "September Morn," and honestly it sounded sloppy and...oh, wait. it sounded like an American Idol yet another failed audition.
David Cook performed "All I Really Need is You." he cooed me! and guess i really need him, i mean his songs and new album in my iPod!
Brooke White revived with "I Am, I Said" her style, her rendition. it was so so so soooo much better compared to the first. guess what Brooke really needs to do is to find her niche and master stage professionalism.
David Archuleta blasted with "America." (DOH) good performace, smart song choice.
Syehsa Mercado closed the show with "Thank the Lord for the Nighttime." i loved it! i thought she was one of the best vocalist that night but to my surprise Simon said she might be in trouble which made me ponder a bit and i think i apprehended what Simon meant: Popularity a.k.a Votes
i won't be talking about what the judges commented but i wanna point out something cute about Paula Abdul that made me laugh. after Round One, Ryan Seacrest asked for the judges' opinions and Paula started with Jason and mentioning that Jason's lower register was nice and then started talking about his second song, which he hasn't even sung yet. she then said, "i thought you sang twice!" cute lol.
my guess on who's out tomorrow? Brooke White or Jason Castro.
Paula Abdul debuted her new single off Randy Jackson’s new album in the top 24 results show of American Idol, and all I have to say is one word - HOTTTT!
besides turning piles of turd into flowers, it seems like Paula Abdul does remember how to sing!
just wondering if you're still prowling and can't get enough of David Cook's Always Be My Baby (Studio Version), you can download it right here. [Right Click, Save As]
PPS: i know you guys all all crazy over this song, so i've decided to put a direct link up just for you. (latest addition: David Cook's Billie Jean [Studio Version])
just when we thought that AIDS will never reach us, just when we thought we will breeze through life by performing safe sex, just when we thought AIDS is no big deal in our community...
i caught this film documentary Alicia in Africa, and i thought it would be nice to let people know.
Alicia Keys and Keep a Child Alive, an urgent response to the AIDS pandemic, have produced a brand new documentary featuring Alicia's journey through several HIV affected communities.. even though it's just a 45-minute documentary, i applaud Alicia Keys for being the ambassador for KeepAChildAlive.Orgwithout any hesitation. with soft caring eyes, she embraced children in her arms and tried her best to help with what she could and making the film a success.
i believed the reason why she filmed this documentary isn't any for the media's attention but hoping for media to fix attention on those innocent children so that more help can be reached.
i cried and felt ashamed because the kids are young, however they are strong willed and very optimistic about their future. despite the poverty and the pandemic, they dream and aspire to be responsible adults and inspiring figures of their own future. whereas there are people like me, sitting and down and thinking how cursed her life is blah blah. i knew i learned something valuable today.
let's not give in to complacency. let's not doubt the power of AIDS. if you have the ability, please give helping hands to those who need it more than we do. help the children, give them a deserving life like how we think ours is. if you don't have the ability, it'll be kind if words are spread.
ps: the best thing about this film is that you can catch it free! just head to this link, and watch the entire movie! :)
when there's no subtitles or translations to a foreign film, and you're watching it raw, it might look stupid, that's what many people think.
on the contrary, i think its one of the most beautiful thing ever.
one reason why i like watching foreign films is because it's just me alone and the moving film with a language i yet to have a clue. pictures tell a thousand words so even if there's no subtitles or translations, the story will still be told.
like a woman crying. when a man filled with anger. children running everywhere with joy spelled across their faces. picture them in your mind and you'll see it coming.
maybe i'll miss some important speech details, but it's okay because with emotions and places and people and events and things happening all in a 1- 3 hr film; why not let the visuals, music and body languages do the talking?
a very good example would be this
though i caught the movie with subtitles but after catching it i realised i'm able to comprehend it without reading the subtitles.
anyway that was really random. v_v
my ultimate purpose of this entry is to introduce you guys this movie called Me...Myself starring Ananda Everingham (Leap Years & Shutter) and Chayanan Manomaisantiphap. 2 people who are total strangers, both belonging in different worlds falling in love? love; unpredictable shit.
there's 2 words to describe genes & cells: funny & formidable. they form the most amazing things ever: Homo Sapiens ...right and because genes and cells are just so individualistic, everyone is born differently; rich, poor, smart, stupid, fat, short, pretty, ugly, abnormality blah blah
so my question is: could there be another me?
it's a tough question. so i thought my probability of having someone looking exactly like me is 2 : 6.7billion. i don't even know how many digits are there in a billion but anyway that wasn't my point.
so cells and genes decided to be funny; to form and create look-a-likes to confuse the other. this is what i'm talkin' about:
Britney Spears
Angelina Jolie
Christina Aguilera
Paris Hilton
Dawn Yang
Michael Jackson
Arnold Schwartzengger
David Beckham
freaky yet pretty interesting isn't it? bet you'd be thinking, omg! what if there's someone who looks like me too? *shrugs* i don't really know myself either. moreover, i won't be surprised since there are so many of us looking alike. but i will be really sad and angry if she looks hotter than me. *whines in the most disgusting bimbotic manner*
i'm super happy someone kind actually posted the mtv! my cousin, Sarah and her girl band Ellements with the song Walk Right Now. by the way if you're wondering which is her, she's the one who sang the pre-chorus. Enjoy the video!
i just wanna blab about how happy i am when it was announced that Singapore won the bid for the first Youth Olympics 2010. pretty cool, isn't it? well kudos for Moscow too because i believe they did as much as we can too! :)
EDC apologises
as for the ney part: EDC Edison Chen returned Hong Kong from Canada and faced the media ever since the scandal saga. he apologised to Hong Kong and the affected victims and announced that he will be leaving the entertainment business for an indefinite period of time.
"I stand before you to account for myself. I've never escaped responsibility before. I admit the pictures were taken by me. They were private pictures and never intended to be shown to the public. They were stolen from me illegally, and distributed without my consent. I would like to apologise to those affected by what has happened. Apologise to all the ladies and their families,"
"I've decided to step away from Hong Kong show business, and do some soul searching, and will do charity and community work in the next few months. My priority is to stop the suffering and pain. We don't want this situation to get out of control. In this regard, I've instructed my lawyers to protect all the innocent victims in this case," he said.
"I've failed you all as a role model. To all (the) young people out there, let this be a lesson to you. I hope you can forgive me, give me another chance."
- Edison Chen
it's a pity that he will be stepping out of showbiz but at least we all know that EDC isn't a coward who hides and ducks from reality. he actually stepped out and admitted his wrongdoings and well, decides to start over a new leaf. (i dont mean to be a bitch, but i always think that the saying "A leopard never changes its spots" is true sometimes)
but its just a saying! who knows what happens next?
oh, by the way...
i never thought that Edison Chen is wrong. he is just unlucky that he went to the wrong store to fix his damned laptop. like what aveline told me: nothing wrong for someone to have their own bedroom kinkiness. so true! i just want to pinpoint something that everyone should think twice about.
a picture paints a thousand words, let alone a video.
poor Edison Chen got caught up in such difficult situation; i swear he can be as famous as a troubled Paris Hilton, but a poor one. as you guys should have heard about the recent sex scandal(s) Mr. Ed and many other female celebrities are going through, why not let me give you a suggestion: let it go.
obviously, the paparazzi and the whole entertainment field isn't going because thats how they keep money rolling in. these businesses never include "empathy" in their dictionary. and who knows how long this torture will go on? they like blood and tears, y'all know.
i told aveline that Edison was *suay, whose laptop broke down and obviously he mistakenly got it repaired at the wrong shop. ha and all of his super wild love life and kinky conquers of female celebrities (i don't have to mention them, you know them too) are being stolen and uploaded it to the great world wide web (please slap yourself 3 times if you don't know what that is)
i'm not stopping anyone from having their sex lives. because sex is part of life! but wanting to take sex scenes and videos off your lousy video camera phone or your high definition video cameras or laptops might be the biggest mistake in your life.
you don't have to be Paris Hilton or Edison Chen to be famous. even an ordinary polytechnic student Tammy got her famous for her infamous sex video which was reportedly stolen and unfortunately uploaded to the internet. she even got her own Tammy merchandise, which isn't funny at all.
the dangerous black box
it's called the black box (as told by many of my computer genius friends), something not very nice to mess with. it stores any destroyed or deleted files you executed. that's why any data you try to delete or destroy will still be found when experts retrieve it. no matter how damaged or cranky your devices are, scientists or experts are still able to get the data whenever they want. so think twice when you wanna do something stupid on the computer or on your phone.
digression and back to Ed, he had a press release.
boy, that video doesn't seem to do much justice in this. at least he tried! of course, folks like him decided to poke fun of his misery sarcastically?
ha ha ha, not funny!
well, let's all say we have our bad days. everyone has their bad days. and Ed is not an exception. guess with so many lives being destroyed temporarily, i guess it's time for Ed and all to think about the mistakes we've made past years.
we had ikea's swedish meatballs and chicken wings and it left us drooling over and over again.
once popped you can't stop!
pieces of heaven
jam and meatballs?
great combination! let's go for another
and then PUSSY willow came into the picture.
PUSSY.
i never liked chinatown during CNY season
chinese puppet show. cool beans!
i had a really tiring day. must be the spring cleaning that kept me awake the entire night leaving me little time to rest my tired body.
this is not the worst yet
oh by the way does the model above looks familiar? like you have seen her somewhere? people, this is paris fugly hilton. i dug this out from my collection of posters and was really amazed how badly lime's designer made paris hilton look. obviously her head was detached from some place and pasted to this body. she looks like my nightmare i think im going to have later. EW!
