Amy did. Amy got molested and she blogged about her ordeal, which raised eyes of many netizens who either flamed her or gave her the courage she needs. But seriously, then again, is this a cry for sympathy or just a call for attention for other females out there touring with a group of guys?
Here's my 2 cents.
As stated on the papers, people who "flamed" her mentioned that it's a come-on sign, which I thought could be partially true. What was she wearing that night? Why travel alone with just a guy? I think pointers like this matters a lot when it comes to staying in the room with another guy whom you thought you knew him since forever. Reservation mistake? Shouldn't she be complaining to the manager? Can't the guy sleep on the ground or sofa? Why didn't she file a police report in Korea instead coming back then file one? Questions like these just make you ponder twice, don't they?
Nice, isn't good enough. It's how much you are able to trust and rely a friend. Jim, obviously, isn't the so called Mr. Nice Guy? The saying "Trust no one but yourself." works well in this situation.
I don't see why there's any reason she shouldn't be flamed. She caused an uproar, and all of these happened for a reason: She shouldn't have blogged about the incident at all and let law and justice do the job.
Why court for more trouble when it can all be handled by the law?

I woke up and logged into my email, surprised to see the results of the Democratoc presidential nomination because I've predicted it right! Sen Barack Obama of Illinois, 46 is the first ever nominated African American for presidential nomination !
Obama, who was oftenly teased as the Osama look-a-like (don't play play) was a first-term senator who was virtually unknown on the national stage four years ago. The inspirational speaker defeated Clinton, the former first lady and one-time campaign front-runner, in a 17-month marathon for the Democratic nomination. His victory had been widely assumed for weeks. But Clinton's declaration of interest in becoming his ticketmate was wholly unexpected. v_v

The Dumb & Naive
22 year-old Morris Williams was the second guy to be put behind bars after having sex with a minor Alicia Dean, 13. He claimed that "the victim" told him that she's 18 and that she picked him up, had conversations and had sex.
Alicia Dean's MySpace profile states that she's 19, divorced and obviously available.
Because of the false statements, two guys were "conned" and sent to jail, while dear Miss Alicia Dean goes scott free? Even Dean's family admits Alisha still stays out late and has yet to delete her misleading MySpace page.
Girls/Guys like Alicia Dean, are gross as hell. If you're one of those people using social networking community, why give out misleading details of yourself? Using that to attract someone's attention is like killing them softly. Oh and using pictures of other people telling others that whoever that person in the picture is you isn't cool okay?

A terrorising elephant..ELEPHANT?!(CHEY!)...named after "Osama bin Laden" which destroyed crops and homes in the northeastern state of Assam was shot dead by sharpshooters, officials said. The animal was blamed for 14 deaths dozens injured over the past few months.
A licensed shooter was hired to shot and kill the 10-foot tall "terrorist" near the Behali forest reserve in northern Assam.

I'll Walk Around Naked...
piercings on the nipples, private areas, faces, hands and legs are getting more common each day.
my jaws dropped when i saw this. it looked dainty, at the same time pretty? well, somehow rather. but corset piercing?!
it's nothing that i'll do though, because i think i'll look 123456789 times sexier with the original corset itself rather with ribbons, strings looping through the piercings, leaving a dramatic bow at the end.
i guess the only time i'll ever consider doing corset piercing is when the government announces that people of the public can walk around nude...which least likely will ever happen.
for now, i won't.

There's Still Life, When There's Hope And Love
The butterfly is symbolic in the taoist culture that a dead spirit has return.
the disaster happened. today at 4.20pm, it happened again, this time killing 1, leaving 200 odd injured.
a few moments ago, i caught the three-hour special last minute held charity concert "让爱川流不息" to raise funds for children who have been orphaned by the Sichuan earthquake. i was deeply touched by the performance, even though it was just a simple sing-along session, the songs they sung were impactful, and meaningful at the same time. they gathered a total of 6.85million dollars worth of donation and would be donated to the children of the Sichuan quake.
someone in the show mentioned: we might be tearing now, but how much we tear cannot be replaced to the mothers who lost their child in the disaster. (in a family in China, every couple can only bear 1 child) they're tearing blood, that bleeds inside out.
they flashed a montage of pictures of children who could never ever see the daylight again, or breathe in the fresh air they used to breathe every morning. it was such a painful sight, i could not bear but to tear with the audiences. though i might not fully understand the devastation that is going on, but i was one child who lost her mom, so somehow i could understand the pain parents or children are going through.
prior to my previous entry, if i have the money, i'll fly over to Sichuan to give people hugs. they might not know what it's all about, but they definitely can feel the warmth.
the people and volunteers of Sichuan deeply touched me, especially this lady who lost her 2-year old child in the rubble who was interviewed. she told the reporter that even though she lost her child, there is no way her child will come back, therefore what she can do now is to volunteer and help the children in need. despite the disaster and what everyone had went through, nothing will be the same again.
that's why sometimes i wonder why people choose to end their lives. in contrary, many want their lives, to live gloriously and be happy. it's a misfortune that that can never be retrieved or taken back, because whatever is gone, is gone. what are left behind are just memories of each other.
while some others, the survivors and the homeless are given another chance to live, which i believe wholeheartedly that they will treasure every single minute of it because the disaster taught them a valuable lesson: to hope, to love and to live, which i choose to learn from too.there will be rainbow after the rain, and a sun after the storm; there's life with love and hope.
now, there are 60,000 lives lost to the disaster, 20,000 are missing, or clinging on their lives waiting for help to reach them.
i dedicate this song to the children and parents who underwent the pain nobody can ever imagine.
PS: my deepest condolences to the loss in the Myanmar and Sichuan disaster.

Raffles Place Ghost!
CAUTION: NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED.
your eyes aren't telling lies.
a few minutes ago, the news reported that a video was posted in youtube showing a circuit video of 2 men entering a lift, when they left the lift, there's a disturbing scene. yes, you're right, a ghost appeared out of no where. my sis, being a paranoia told me to watch the footage in youtube instead of the news, so i've got no choice but to drag my ass to the computer and check it out for myself.
then to my surprise the long waited 1.49mins footage played right before my eyes and i thought it was some kind of a joke. i must say, whoever did that made the video look convincing enough despite my doubt for the existence of ghosts.
and the moment of truth is...i guess i'll let the video speak for its own.

guess after my holiday in Australia, i might take a trip down to check out this awesome HR consultancy, GMP Group. what a great, witty publicity stunt!!! me like! :)

do you feel disgusted when you know your neighbour is a prostitute? or do you feel ashamed someone you know turned to prostitution?
initially, whenever i watch typical movies or tv dramas, my immediate reaction to seeing a prostitute selling her/his body to people who are desperate for sex made me felt ashamed and revolted. you can earn money by other means! but not by prostitution! i believe most of us will agree. however, if you guys are aware, prostitution is one of the fastest money earning route for someone who needs money badly or someone who has nobody to rely on in their lives? note that this is not an encouragement to anyone to turn into prostitution.
take for an example, the maths prodigy Sufiah Yusof from Malaysia who turned into prostitution. yes, she did sold her body for £130 an hour and told the posing punter that she did full sex with a condom and oral sex without protection. but do you really think she likes it that way? why? i believe every thing is possible. i won't be surprised if a prodigy is selling his/her body for a mere 200bucks an hour; isn't that what's prostitution all about?
prostitute in Oxford dictionary means : person who offers sexual intercourse for payment.

her family is screwed. her family failed to attend her wedding. she got divorced. Farooq had been jailed for three years in a £1.5m mortgage swindle. also, he had been sent to borstal for his role in a conspiracy involving £100,000. now, he was known to have sexually assaulted two 15-year-old girls as he home-tutored them in maths. Sufiah showed no sign of sadness when Farooq was put to jail clearly showed how much her dislike for him.
with such physical and emotional torment, which child is able to breeze through such stress in life? nobody is perfect, unless you're born with brains and bodies of superman or superwoman then fine, i shall stop.
i believe nobody in the world is born to become a prostitute, however are nurtured or forced to become one. how can we call them cheap? or sluts? when all they did was to do their job and earn their money? at least they don't go around killing people for money, isn't it?

baby LaliLali, the 1-month-old baby, is born with 2 faces-- two noses, two pairs of lips and two pairs of eyes. an extremely rare condition known as craniofacial duplication, Lali has a single head with two faces. she is being hailed as a return of the Hindu goddess of valor, Durga, a fiery deity traditionally depicted with three eyes and many arms.
as many as 100 people visit Lali's house daily to touch her feet out of respect, offer money and receive blessings!
children who are born with such condition is usually linked to serious health complications, but not for baby Lali. with the ability to breathe and function normally, baby Lali is born healthy and fortunate and she'll lead a normal life like any other children!!!
i'm glad for the baby that she is born totally healthy. sometimes, being born with something special is a good sign. i hope she'll embrace her special feature with loving arms.

seriously, this is, like what the papers mentioned, A MIRACLE. who can even survive after being flung 10ms high and away and escapes unhurt? baby Jolene did! you have to understand, the heavier the object, and the further the object is being thrown, the impact is even more severe. so imagine a baby being thrown 10m tall and away cheating death with a few scratches?

i caught this movie called Simon Birch, where this little guy Simon always repeat this line confidently to everyone he knows: God has a plan for everyone.
i might not be a Christian, however whenever Simon starts to chant that line, i thought for a while and realised that the sentence makes so much sense!

i used to work in the hospital and i've heard a lot about AIDS patient with major pus-filled skin, worst kind of dermal problems you can never imagine of and even bleeding eyes! moreover, that wasn't served as a joke but something to ponder about.
if you love sex and you love changing partners, i strongly advise you to go for monthly check ups and take all kinds of precaution when having an intercourse. when you choose a sex partner, please make sure he/she is clean! besides the conventional sex, whatever sex acts you're gonna do on bed with a partner (whether you're straight, bi or gay), just think twice or you might your life!
and if you're barely legal to even do anything, just take this entry as a lesson and absorb whatever you can. if you still don't understand, wiki or google for AIDS and you'd find a whole list of information.

- people finding a reason like: i've a really bad cramp in my stomach, can i be excused today? just because they had so much fun and were shagged like hell or they just want more but reluctant to head back for boring work.
