Nuffnang recently held a contest which i thought is really interesting. i was hesitant to participate but the fact i know it's gonna be fun,with the chance to promote the beauty of Singapore and also the 1% probability i might win this (Acer laptop, here i come),so why not? it's a win-win situation, hehe!


it'll be a motivation and inspiration for me as it spurs me to come up with my most creative idea and to show people my innovative self! i'm growing into this! save me!!!

i'm glad Carly Smithson, Jason Castro, David Archuleta & David Cook are still running in the show! it was shocking for Michael Johns to leave last week but i won't be surprised someone i like to leave this week because the competition is that high! hopefully, someone i didn't mention above will leave instead :/

Flirt Like A Pro

many think that girls have to be hot like pancakes to be really successful at flirting with a guy. seriously, says who? anybody can do it! what you need to do is to learn how to flirt with a guy correctly in order to impress him, you'd also wanna show that you have a liking for him; don't be surprised to find out that he likes you too!

i found these following flirting tips online, if you have your own style, just incorporate some of them here and i guarantee, you'll be irresistible! lol, so what are you waiting for?!

1. Appearance Consciousness

the most basic, first thing that you need to pay attention is your physical appearance. there's no need to dress provocatively, but you should wear something that looks confident, elegant, comfortable, and at the same time makes you feel you.

hygiene care, ladies. from the hair to the toes, make sure you're well groomed! do not overdo make-up ladies! you won't wanna look like the Joker ya? also, make sure you take initiative to make yourself smell good, look clean and make sure you shave, ladies! [IMPORTANT]

2. Are You Alone?

make sure you're alone! don't let the poor guy approach you in crowds and ensure that your friends or girlfriends aren't around you. like, hello do you want 10,000 pairs of eyes to be on you? or being bitched about? also, no man likes to be rejected in front of everyone.

3. Act Right

how to act flirty? there's 10 million tips on how to do so but i'll shall list down the few basic ones i can think of:

Eyes contact

the eyes can be the most effective tool for flirting. it's possible to make a guy's heart skip a beat by giving him a playful, lusty, or lingering stare. here is how to do it:

if you're walking by someone you've got the hots for, give him a 2-3 second stare and then slowly glance away (slowly, i repeat). make sure you smile just as you start to look away! he'll get it.

to add on, when you're talking to a guy you like, take a second to momentarily break away from his eyes and pause on his upper body or chest. let 2 seconds pass. then slowly move your eyes back up and make eye contact again. this sends him chills of excitement. he'll realise that you were checking him out...trust me, attention is good. (i don't personally like that take because it's like a hint telling him, "hey let's talk on the bed instead", unless you don't mind!)

Smiles & Laughter

a laugh and a smile are the sexiest things a female can wear. ;)

Magic Touch

learn to brush a guy in such a way that you send tingles up and down his spine. note: brush and grind are two totally different intentions! try not make it intentional, do not let the cat out of the bag! casually tap him while laughing, or hold his hand when you're nervous; it will give him a sense of manliness and you a touch sweetie pie [no pun intended!]

4. Start The Ball Rollin'!

having small talks work. make sure you know what you're talking. talk about what you have in common, talk about your surroundings, ask a question, ask for help, state an opinion. while talking, look into his eyes confidently and affectionately, not seductively.

5. Getting To Know Him

while having the light conversation, try to find out whether he is your type. if he is pushy, stop at the line you draw. if you feel otherwise, carry on with the evening. if he isn't your cup of tea, just excuse yourself politely from his company. remember you started the whole flirting, so make sure you aren't impulsive or aggressive.

i found this amazing website translator, AltaVista from my friend Mong's blog if i'm still able to recall a long time ago. it does website translations from chinese to french to korean! and the transformation is within under a minute. i think it's a good tool for bloggers who wish to increase traffic flow and readers for their website.

however, there's one thing i have to point out. the website is a direct translation so therefore, the grammer and word formations might be wrong based on individual language.

the fact that i could read mine in chinese, proves that the translator isn't that bad afterall. so you might wanna give a try. :)
