O-M-G I'm Famous!
okay i lied.
the reason why i love controversies is because one can never get enough of them. controversies can live as long as you ever even remember. controversies, obviously are matters in life we argue about, having disputes of, or even debating who's right or wrong.
and many, in that case will think that they are correct and they want to win even if they're wrong. at the end of the day, nobody knows who's the winner. it just goes on and on like running water from a tap.
for example, the Edison Chen photo scandal caused an uproar to the showbiz and brought up many controversial matters like, the upbringing of a child...sex education or should raunchy photos be taken and stored in devices...(too many to mention)
another example would be the infamous 2 Girls 1 Cup video which created havoc within netizens, and even sequels came along.
bloggers who read Xiaxue's blog would have vividly remembered the entire Steven Lim vs. Xiaxue issue or xialanxue who blogged about how "fake" Dawn Yang is sparkled a frenzy in the blogosphere.
because of our inquisitiveness, we read them, and sometimes, we blog about them. we might blog negative thoughts about it while others think otherwise. we love it, they hate it. we think we're correct, others think we're wrong. but isn't this what controversies all about?
we're funny beings. we claim to be unaware of certain situations but deep down inside we know exactly what's going on. given a scenario a serial rapist got caught by the police and mouths were wagging, so happened you came across your neighbour and she started the whole topic. it's unbelievable sometimes we're able to act as if nothing has ever happened, "oh my god, did that really happen?" when deep down inside we're like, "that's great! i'm so glad that happened." we're hypocrites, subconsciously hypocritical.
though these controversial issues might have died down, but with our freedom to blog or motor mouth that open and shut, anything from the dead can be revived within a night! media goes down and dirty.
now that all this happened, i won't blame others but for ourselves. we brought it upon ourselves, controversies sparkle and my take on that? just let it happen, go with the flow and about the saying curiosity kills the cat, i choose not to believe it.
