i woke up from a jolt i never felt before

...wait i remembered reaching for something

what was it?

i recalled struggling as if i am reaching for it badly
is it my mom? grandmother? grandfather?

argh! swifting shadows, lights flickered

or am i seeking time, hoping to travel back like a time machine

motion speed increased, heart rate accelerated

that loud piercing noise!
like millions of needles sting into my flesh

please...stop...stop it!

came a gush on wind,
it slammed, swirled into the terrifying noise
bam!

...

i could still hear the wind howl from a distance

that noise; faltered and stopped
